It is flexible by nature, so it can withstand the expansion and contraction that is characteristic of stringed instruments. Vinyl Sealer (48345, sold separately) is also flexible, and is the only sealer that should be used under Stringed Instrument Lacquer. These quality carvings come ready to finish and are available in birch or oak. They will readily accept both stains and finishes and are easy to apply to your project using glue. Each carving is intended for interior use only and are 7-1/2" L x 3" H with a thickness of 1/8".
