We're bundling the Tormek T-7 Sharpening System with the Tormek Woodturner's Accessory Kit, and Handtool Kit to save you money and give you enhanced accuracy, convenience and versatility! With the T-7's new Square Edge Jig, your blades will be automatically squared to the grinding wheel without the need for picky adjustments. Since chisels and plane blades are mounted with their flat backs against a large, flat reference surface, there is no risk of rocking or tipping once the jig is tightened down. The T-7 also includes the new Truing and Dressing Tool, which uses a diamond cutter to return worn, out-of-round wheels to like-new condition. Precision screw feed allows you to grade the wheel for a fine or coarse grade by simply varying the rate of feed. Plus, the standard system now includes the SP-650 Stone Grader. Simply press it onto the wheel to grade the wheel up to 1000 grit and flip it over to return the wheel to coarse grinding. The Woodturner's Accessory Kit includes a Gouge Jig (SVD-185) for fingernail shaped bowl gouges and spindle gouges, a Tool Rest (SVD-110) for scrapers, hollowing tools, and thin parting tools, a Turning Tool Setter (TTS-100T) with built-in edge geometries, a Profiled Leather Honing Wheel (LA-120) for honing and polishing the flute on gouges, a Machine Cover (MH-380), a Multi-Jig (SVS-50) for skew chisels with a straight or curved edges, and a book and DVD. The Handtool kit includes a knife jig, long knife jig, scissors jig, short tool jig, and an axe jig.T-7 Sharpening System Details:Square Edge Jig accepts blades up to 76mm or 3" in widthSquare Edge Jig features safety stops, which prevent the tool from slipping off the stoneTruing and Dressing Tool with screw feed: Trues the grindstone exactly round and flat. If exposed to the open air for long periods of time, the cast iron surfaces of your table saw will inevitably begin to rust. Not with the Zerust Table Saw Cover, however. Once installed, this proprietary cover emits non-toxic vapor corrosion inhibitors (VCIs) that surround your table saw to prevent rust, corrosion and electrochemical reactions. Of course, it also helps to shield your equipment from airborne moisture, dust and abrasions. The rust and corrosion inhibitors will remain active for 5 years after the date of purchase. Made in USA. The distinctive striped appearance of Zebrawood has made it a favorite for decorative inlays and veneers. The color ranges from golden-yellow to a peanut butter tone with chocolate veins running through it. The wood is hard, dense and extremely tough. These thin boards are machined S4S to 1/8" and 1/4" thicknesses, eliminating wear and tear on your planer. You won't have to worry about tearout, which is difficult to prevent when planing thin stock. Thin boards are ideal for edging, veneering, inlay, marquetry, sides for decorative boxes, bending stock, bent laminations and whatever else your imagination can dream up!Native to: West Africa, especially Gabon and Cameroon.Tree Data: 48" to 60" diameter trunk. The trees generally have very thick bark.Sapwood: Pale yellow.Heartwood: Light golden-yellow or pale yellow-brown, with narrow streaks of dark brown to almost black, giving a striped appearance.Grain: Generally interlocked or wavy, yielding a ribbon figure. Texture: Medium to coarse. Luster: High luster.Resin: Occasional resin pockets.Movement: Dimensionally stable. Retains its shape well after machining.Veneering Qualities: Zebrawood is used extensively in veneers for cross banding and inlays. Bundles of veneer should be stabilized with weights to prevent buckling.Working characteristics: Responds well to hand and machine tools. Quite easy to saw, but due to interlocking grain, planing is very difficult, often resulting in tearout.Polishing: Good polishing and finishing qualities. Strength: Compressive strength parallel to the grain is high. The wood is hard, very heavy, and very dense. It is tough, with good impact resistance.
