Tormek Sharpening System with Handtool Kit

We're pairing the Tormek T-7 Sharpening System with the Tormek Handtool Kit to save you money and give you enhanced accuracy, convenience and versatility! With the T-7's new Square Edge Jig, your blades will automatically be squared to the grinding wheel without the need for picky adjustments. Since chisels and plane blades are mounted with their flat backs against a large, flat reference surface, there is no risk of rocking or tipping once the jig is tightened down. The T-7 also includes the new Truing and Dressing Tool, which uses a diamond cutter to return worn, out-of-round wheels to like-new condition. Precision screw feed allows you to grade the wheel for a fine or coarse grade by simply varying the rate of feed. Plus, the standard system now includes the SP-650 Stone Grader. Simply press it onto the wheel to grade the wheel up to 1000 grit and flip it over to return the wheel to coarse grinding.T-7 Sharpening System Details:Square Edge Jig accepts blades up to 76mm or 3" in widthSquare Edge Jig features safety stops, which prevent the tool from slipping off the stoneTruing and Dressing Tool with screw feed: Trues the grindstone exactly round and flat. Cherry by the Piece-1/2" Thickness

A long time favorite for its rich color and excellent workability, Cherry continues to gain popularity for use in fine furniture and cabinets. The wood leaves the sawmill with a pinkish, rosy tone, and continues to darken over years to a deep, lustrous red. The narrow sapwood has a creamy color, similar to Hard Maple. Cherry is easily worked with hand tools and takes an excellent finish and polish. All boards are machined S4S, and are planed to 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" thicknesses, relieving your planer of excess work. Thin boards are well-suited for edging, veneering, marquetry, sides for decorative boxes, bending stock and bent laminations, while the thicker boards are ideal for furniture, paneling, cabinet doors, mouldings, drawer sides, fine jewelry boxes and whatever else your imagination can dream up!Distribution: As many as five varieties of Black cherry are reported to thrive throughout North America.Tree: Attains heights of about 100 feet (30 m) Average tree grows to about 80 feet (24 m) in height, and produces a tall trunk, about 24 inches (60 cm) in diameter.
