Freud's undersized plywood bits are specifically sized to match the actual thickness of 1/4'', 1/2"'' and 3/4'' plywood (7/32'', 15/32'' and 23/32'') for perfect gap-free dados. The down shear design on the 23/32'' bit virtually eliminates splintering, and all bits feature Freud's TiCo Hi-Density Carbide to withstand the rigors of routing plywood containing high glue content, which rapidly dulls standard bits. The Non-Stick Perma Shield Coating also protects bits from heat and pitch build up. Set comes in Freud's new case with bit mount to keep bits handy and safe. All bits have 1/4'' shanks. Cuts all composition materials, plywoods, hardwoods and softwoods. This router bit allows you to make custom wooden window and door frames in your own home shop. The set comes with a spacer, bearing and two cutters mounted on an arbor, and is designed to be reversed so that both cope and stick cuts can be made with a single bit. The cope and stick joint fits perfectly, and can be reinforced with a loose tenon or dowels to enhance durability. 22mm bearing.
Intricate solid wood inlays with delicate geometric patterns. Great for adding a decorative touch to jewelry boxes, table tops, picture frames and more. Inlay bandings are easy to apply. Simply rout out a groove with a straight router bit, glue in the banding, sand lightly, and seal. Note: Dimensions are nominal and should be measured before routing the recess for installation.
With a full 1" of carbide length and four interchangeable bearings, this rabbeting bit is capable of cutting in horizontally at 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" increments, and up to 1" vertically, infinitely adjustable with your router. The carbide is ground to a fine edge to provide the longest possible cutting life, and smooth, burn-free rabbets. It features a rugged 1/2" shank that cuts vibration for the smoothest possible cut. A hex wrench is included for swapping the bearings.
