The AutoRoute series of CNC machines from Axiom offers advanced features usually found only on machines in industrial environments, but at consumer-friendly prices. The AutoRoute 6 Pro is the mid-sized Pro model. With XYZ travel of 24'' x 36'' x 6'', and a powerful 3HP electro-spindle, it is perfect for a wide variety of parts, including guitar bodies. A computer need not be attached to the CNC to operate it. Instead, simply transfer your file to the included handheld controller via USB. The RichAuto A11 controller is an easy-to-use, robust controller with nearly a decade of proven results in demanding applications. It is more stable than a PC, and no updates are required. Every Axiom AutoRoute CNC machine also offers precision ball screws, prismatic guides, robust, rigid steel frames, and interlocking aluminum tables. In addition, the integrated MDF spoil boards promise exacting precision, as they can be milled flat for true perpendicularity with the spindle. Vertical panel raising bits concentrate more of their weight toward the center of the bit, reducing strain on the motor, and allowing you to spin the bit at higher RPMs. This means you can raise panels with an ordinary 2 HP router mounted in a router table. Precision machining paired with a sturdy 1/2" shank ensure smooth, chatter-free cuts. Note: vertical panel raising bits cannot be used for cathedral-style or arched doors.
Our beading bits come in a range of sizes to suit many applications. Use the smaller bits to make beaded trim moldings, and the larger bits for bull-nosed edges on thicker stock. A 1/4" beaded molding mitered around doors and drawer fronts adds a subtle and strikingly attractive effect. In bullnosing applications, a beading bit gives you a true half-round profile, without the flat in the middle that a round over bit would leave. It also machines the edge in one pass rather than two. All of these bits feature sturdy 1/2" shanks for extremely smooth, stable routing.
