Enjoy the same speed and precision of the FMT at a fraction of the cost! The same great features produce the same great joints. Simplicity is the key. The Super FMT uses just one bit, one guide and one setup for every standard joint. It's that easy. There are no bit or guide changes to fuss with and the setup stays the same for both parts of the joint. Joint fit is easily adjusted for perfect results every time. Super FMT guides and bits allow you to create any size mortise and tenon from a tiny 1/16" x 1/8" to a massive1/2" x 5". Includes five 5/16" joint guides (5/16" by 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2"), that can make over 21 sizes of mortises and tenons.Additional features:Universal sub-base that attaches to virtually any plunge routerJoint guide stand5/16" HSS spiral upcut bit with 1/2" shank (Leigh No. 170-500)Two F-ClampsAdjustable sidestop fence for tenoning1/8" hex driverMounting hardwareIllustrated user guide
This larger base works with the Ellipse/Circle Router Jig for more design flexibility and ellipses with narrower proportions. The larger size increases the maximum difference between the major and minor axes from 8" to 14". In other words, the maximum length of the major axis remains 52", but the minor axis can be up to 14" shorter than with the standard base.Base includes 2 extra dovetail keys with pivot pins.Made of solid phenolic for easy sliding.
With a full 2" of carbide, this bit is ideally suited for trimming thick entry doors, interior doors and countertops. It features a top-mounted guide bearing, which lets you use templates on the top side. This means better visibility when hand-holding the router. The bit is 3/4" in diameter, and features two flutes for efficient chip removal.
Provided your router has enough horsepower, horizontal panel raising bits offer an exceptionally smooth shearing cut, and virtually eliminate fuzzing on the end grain of your panels. In addition, they allow you to raise panels with curving profiles, such as for arched doors or cathedral style doors. These raised panel bits are manufactured to Rockler's exacting standards, and include guide bearings to ensure proper relief to fit into the grooves of your rail and stile doors.
