This new PM2700 Shaper offers more features to you than any other shaper in the same class. The extra large 30" x 40" precision ground cast iron table includes a heavy duty miter gauge with an aluminum extruded support. The built-in, omni-directional caster system (patent pending) is retractable into the base. A quick-release lever allows fast speed and belt changes. The extruded aluminum fence has several T-slots so you can mount a wood face to create a no-clearance surface around any shaper or router bit. The fence also gives you the ability to quickly move the fence close to its final position, lock it in and then use the precision micro adjustments on each side of the cutter to dial in exactly the position you need. Adding to the precision of this machine is a digital readout for the spindle height. This allows making adjustments to within .001" in the spindle height, which is critical when aligning rail and stile cutters for those raised panel doors.Integrated caster system built into the cast iron base for instant shop mobilitySpindle height digital readout for making fine incremental adjustments on multiple passesHeavy duty 30" x 40" precision ground tabletop for smooth stock feedingConvenient quick lock belt tensioning for easy speed adjustmentIndustrial fence system with fine adjust dials for more precise positioning5HP totally enclosed motor offers plenty of powerTwo spindle speeds (reversible) for a variety of workSuperior clear cutter guard promotes safety, allows observation of the entire cutTable predrilled and tapped for feeder mounting in two locationsFence has dual featherboards for work holdingDual 4" ports for attachment to dust collection systemStandard Equipment:3/4" and 1-1/4" interchangeable spindle colletsSpindle height digital readoutFeatherboard hold downsDeluxe miter gaugeIntegrated caster system
With two included bearings-one flush for a standard round over, and one slightly smaller for a beaded edge-these combination bits make versatile workhorses that will see plenty of use in your shop. Among our most popular router bit choices, they're perfect for making edges softer, both to the touch as well as to the eye. For a bit more definition, just switch the bearing to the beading mode. Shear angle provides the smoothest cut available.Includes smaller 3/8" bearing and wrench for beading applications at no additional charge.Items with * in the description are larger bits that should be used in router tables at reduced RPM.Two flutes.1/2" bearing pre-installed.1/2" shank for minimal vibration.
This advanced model of the GRR-Ripper boasts all of the same innovative features of the GR-100 but comes with two additional accessories (see below) that improve the control and expandability of the GRR-Ripper System. The Micro Jig GRR-Ripper Advanced 3D Pushblock (GR-200) is designed to feed your workpiece more safely and more accurately than with conventional push blocks, resulting in intact fingers, less burning and less waste. With its 3-Directional control, it gives you downward, forward, and lateral pressure on the stock for maximum control. Since it acts as a movable blade guard that travels with your hand, it provides an additional safety buffer between the blade and your hands. Whether you are making razor-thin veneer strips, building miniatures, or creating exquisite furniture you will save time, materials, and fingers with the GRR-Ripper.The GR-200 includes these additional accessories:The Adjustable Spacer - This accessory adds increased gripping surface for tackling larger stock. It also adds one inch of cutting width to the GRR-Ripper and acts as a secondary balance support for small stock and straight-line ripping. Great add-on for working on the router table, and eliminating snipe. The Stabilizing Plate - The Stabilizing Plate adds a new dimension of control to the GRR-Ripper. It is particularly useful when cutting small narrow pieces of stock. Perfect for trickier cuts like resawing, bevel edging, pattern routing, and much more. The Stabilizing Plate also acts as a secondary fence that travels with the GRR-Ripper along the left side of the stock. It holds the off-cut piece in its original position through the entire cutting operation. Some users call it a "Feather Board Plate," but unlike a featherboard, it exerts no sideways pressure. Instead it simply holds the drop-off piece in position as it travels past the blade, preventing binding.Watch a video demo today by clicking on the "Videos" tab above.
