This versatile dish cutter boasts two carbide wings that cut a straight edge with a rounded corner and flat bottom. Ideal for cutting hollows and recesses into shallow bowls, plates, serving trays, jewelry box trays, coasters, coin holders, spoons and lettered signs. As an added benefit, the rounded corner is easy to clean, and won't trap dust like a square corner would. 1/4" shank.
Our Classic Cove Router Bits feature a small step on either side of a basic cove, adding a bit of definition to an otherwise graceful curve. The bits are available in several radiuses, each with a guide bearing. If desired, a separate larger bearing can be installed to achieve a basic cove. Sturdy 1/2" shanks, the best choice for the smoothest cut.Two flutes.3/8" bearing.
These collet extenders allow you to change router bits from above the table-even without a lift! Even if you have a lift, they still make bit changes easier because you won't have to remove the insert ring. They're also great for custom made router tables with very thick tops, as they provide the additional depth of cut needed for many routing tasks. Use them with our Router Table Spline Jig (59288, sold separately) to achieve full depth of cut when machining dovetail splines.
