Give your furniture and cabinets a classic, architectural look with this unique molding bit. Perfect for chair rails, crown molding, door casings, trim, pilasters, window casing/sills, baseboards and picture frames, you can use the full profile, or just a portion of it to achieve the look you want. Features two flutes and a 3/8" ball bearing guide.
This relief cutter provides a safe, economical way to fit flat and raised panels into the 1/4" groove of cope and stick frames. For flat panels, making a relief cut means you don't have to plane your panels down to 1/4", meaning less wasted wood, less wear and tear, and a far more stable panel. The same goes for raised panels. Instead of planing off the back side, you can leave the panel at 3/4" thick and use the Back Cutter to fit the panel into the groove.
This traditional crown molding profile features a 2-1/4" long cutter profile for a deep, detailed architectural appearance. You can also use it for other trim elements, such as for chair rails and case molding. 1-1/4" diameter x 2-1/4" cutter length x 1/2" shank.
