With these additional router bits, you can truly get the most out of your Leigh RTJ400 Router Table Dovetail Jig (51014, sold separately). Rout a wide range of through and half-blind dovetail joints, box joints, even angled dovetails and end-on-end dovetails (splice joints). With nine router bits in total, plus a guide bushing and collet reducer, you'll be equipped to join nearly anything with ease and precision.
These straight bits are slightly undersized to cut tight-fitting grooves and dadoes for plywood that is thinner than its stated nominal thickness, which applies to most plywood and veneered MDF. Typical straight bits leave an unsightly gap when used for plywood joinery. Use these bits to cut grooves, dadoes and rabbets. Of course, they can also be used for general purpose material removal or any application which requires a flat, finished bottom. The two-flute cutters give a smooth finish with a medium feed rate. Two flutes, 1/4" shank.
