Micro-Mesh is used to polish surfaces back to clarity or a high gloss. Available in grades 1500-12,000.Micro-Mesh (Grades 1500 through 12000) was originally designed to polish most hard plastics, fiberglass, epoxy, gel-coat, raw and finished wood, cultured marble, sold surface, painted surfaces, gold, silver, etc. Micro-Mesh is not an aggressive stock remover. Common sandpaper products are required for the removal of deep scratches prior to using Micro-Mesh to polish the surface back to clarity or a high gloss. Use wet or dry with either water or water/detergent as a lubricant. You may also use mineral oil, vegetable oil, lemon oil, etc but DO NOT use anything containing solvent as this will delaminate the MICRO-MESH. Sheets are offered in the following Micro-Mesh grades: 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000
